Severance is an episodic cyberpunk adventure spanning across a wild and lawless galaxy. After forcing his escort ship to crash land, prisoner Reeve escapes from the clutches of a shady corporation that has pursued him across the Nether, intent on recovering information he stole.

As he flees, Reeve stumbles across Beck, a spaceship captain whose crew recently mutinied. Reeve reluctantly teams up with Beck after taking the man's ship back, and they flee from their corporate pursuers. But with all the Hunters, Bullet Banshees, Free-dealers, and a corp nipping at their thrusters, how long can they really expect to run for?
